Prof. Dr. Basem Battah
Dean message,
Welcome to the Antioch Syrian Private University's Faculty of Pharmacy.
Our main objective is to train a generation of knowledgeable, curious, and creative pharmacists to tackle global health concerns equipping them with skills necessary to persevere in an ever growing, highly competitive job market locally and globally.
We equip the staff and instructors with the resources and tools they require to deliver high quality and up-to-date knowledge promoting the generation of new information.
Pharmacy is an interdisciplinary field with multiple career paths aside from the traditional route. A pharmacist may pursue a career in pharmaceutical production, quality control, sales, research, diagnostics… etc
From a pharmaceutical production point of view, the curriculum is designed in to address the skills necessary to formulate, manufacture and monitor the production of pharmaceutical dosage forms abiding with international pre-established regulations through understanding and up-to-date scientific research in the domains of pharmacognosy, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and pharmaceutical chemistry.
Our faculty members are dedicated to research. We are quite pleased with the quality and significance of our research on a local, regional, and global scale. We are continuously and actively expanding the reach of our affiliations and fortifying them. Furthermore, I want to ensure that the college continues thrive. I have no doubt that all of our instructors, staff, graduates, and students will uphold global standards by generating outstanding multifunctional professionals who will transform pharmacy practice and healthcare locally and globally. Quality and talent come together here at the Antioch Syrian Private University Faculty of Pharmacy.
